On Thursday, September 12, 2013, Linda Pappajohn is presenting “HR Stuff You Need to Know – Human Resources 101” from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the New Castle Chamber of Commerce.  You’ll receive:

  • Forms you can take back to the office and start using immediately.
  • Helpful tips on how to make a “good” hire, and useful interview questions.
  • An employee performance evaluation form that’s quick and simple to use.
  • A sample write-up form for an employee’s bad behavior or poor performance.
  • Guidelines as to which employees are exempt from overtime and which ones must receive overtime. (Comp time off at a later date is usually a no-no!)
  • Easy to understand instructions on correctly completing an I-9 form.
  • A chart of which employment laws you need to pay attention to – based on the size of your organization.
  • A list of what should and should not be in your personnel files.

  • Real-life problem employee situations and solutions.
